About Lauren
I have 7 years of experience teaching high school Spanish, where I was nominated for Teacher of the Year. In addition, during graduate studies, I taught undergraduate courses for 4 years at R1 universities. While completing my undergraduate degree, I conducted private lessons to professional adults.
My experience living and researching abroad (Santiago de Chile and Spain) in addition to my personal travels make me a strong communicator aware of regional diversity. My interest in the language, literature, and culture prompted me to complete graduate studies and the University of Kansas and the University of Michigan.
