About Heloise
I am bilingual in French and English and have experience mentoring GCSE students in history and French as well as younger year groups in both small group and 1-1 settings. From working with students of different abilities I have learnt to adapt my lessons to different needs and learning methods. I aim to connect with students to ensure that they come to each lesson excited to learn, rather than with dread.

My lessons are tailored to ensure students understand but most importantly enjoy what they are learning. Lessons begin with a quick check of what the student wants to achieve and ensuring they are ok with the lesson programme, then an interactive and visual active recall task on the previous session's content to spot anything we need to work on further and then finally a broader focus on the topic of the student's choice, taught through a range of methods and a focus on exam questions to make sure the student is comfortable with their knowledge!
