About Marwen
When in college, I tutored K-12 students in English, in addition to being an English graduate assistant. I also hold an experience in teaching French in the academia.
My tutoring experience covers the basics: reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a special emphasis on pronunciation, vocabulary, paper organization, and group discussions. It also includes individual preparation for school exams, placement tests and second-language proficiency tests. Finally, my experience involves teaching foreign languages through the lens of culture, by devising cultural activities such as watching and studying popular films, or learning and understanding famous songs.
Learning requires method, patience and dedication, and should also be fun! That is why I have always applied those principles in my work, and in life in general.
