About Noko Abel
Hello! My name is Noko Abel Mapatlari, a final-year student at the University of Limpopo, pursuing my studies in Bachelor of Arts in contemporary English and multilingual studies (BA in CEMS). I am very passionate about learning English as I fell in love with reading at a very young age. I have always been committed to reading and always eager to learn further. Reading is very crucial and has a positive impact on learning as it stimulates your mind, improves vocabulary and boosts your confidence and proficiency. That is why I love teaching English so much because proficiency in English provides a wide variety of opportunities and also contributes towards building a better community. When coming to learning, I respect the time and learning space so much. Being punctual is very crucial as time is an important variable. Failure to manage time effectively leads to failure in life! I welcome each and every one of you and I am looking forward to having a fruitful and prosperous working relationship with each one of you!

I offer focus-groups type of lessons, as well as one-on-one consultations. My lessons are mainly focused on the basics of English such as mastering essential grammar (SVO sentence structure, verb tenses), building core vocabulary, and understanding fundamental pronunciation for clear communication. Furthermore, we tackle the key elements which include understanding eight parts of speech, using articles (\(a\), \(an\), \(the\)), and mastering basic tenses (present, past, future) to form simple sentences. My patience and understanding allow students to share their opinions and ask questions based on everything we would be discussing. English is the language that I am proficient and able to teach in. My lessons are typically aimed at assisting high school learners from grade 8 to grade 12. Students can expect to acquire and master the basics of English and how to maneuver around it before diving into the complex terminologies.
