About Elsa Alexandra
I have been an English teacher for 18 years. For 12 years I taught the 3rd cycle and secondary school. Later, I started to teach English - 1st cycle. I love children and teenagers. I also taught adults and loved it !! I taught from North to South of the country, even in South Africa and England. I like to teach students to be prepared for all areas focusing on oral expression and comprehension so they can communicate fluently. Nowadays, knowing how to speak English is an asset in any profession.

My teaching method is to essentially interact with students to the fullest and only in English. In public schools, teachers speak a lot of Portuguese in their classes, which in no way contributes to student learning and success. I always plan my classes, however, it does not always run as expected and I have to improvise. Sometimes it is these lessons that work out the best. The feedback from the students is extremely important so that the classes are always interesting, appealing and innovative.
