About Leonardo
I’m a Senior Technical Director and VFX artist with more than 20 years of experience in the visual effects and animation industry.
Throughout my career I’ve worked across Italy, France, Belgium, and the UK, contributing to VFX, animation, procedural workflows, and production pipeline development for studios and creative companies.
My background includes Maya, Houdini, procedural systems, workflow automation, technical pipeline development, and custom production tools.
I focus heavily on practical production-oriented workflows, helping artists and technical users understand not only how tools work, but how they are used in real studio environments.
In recent years I’ve specialized in procedural workflows, technical art, and node-based systems for scalable and reusable production solutions.

This is an advanced Bifrost course designed for students who already have a solid understanding of Maya and want to expand into procedural and technical workflows.
The course focuses on developing production-oriented Bifrost systems, custom compounds, reusable node graphs, and procedural workflows for VFX and animation.
Lessons are tailored to the student’s goals and technical level.\n\nTopics may include:

My teaching method focuses on simplifying complex technical systems into smaller and understandable building blocks.
Rather than learning isolated nodes mechanically, students learn how to think procedurally and how to design scalable workflows that can be used in real production environments.
