Angela is the best! Super patient and makes every minute fun! It’s never a dull moment!

I actually became acquainted with Angela first through seeing her work in a library back in the late 2000s. I was captivated and became an instant fan. I would meet the real person about four years later and became even more delighted by the person behind the artwork. Getting to know her in a personal way first, I would come to know a person who is kind, thoughtful, highly creative, full of good humor and optimism, dedicated to whatever she pours herself into and (my personal favorite) happy to share anything she has learned along her journey as a visual artist. She has always been more than generous in sharing what she knows for every question I have ever asked her about art technique, materials, recommendations for companies, and even remarkable patient when I have asked the same things over and over. Which was often. I have always experienced her full attentiveness and care when it came to that particular subject. Her dedication to her own work crossed over into her dedication to helping other artists, such as myself, to advance in what we know and fine tune wherever we can to exponentially excel our current level. As far as one who is a mentor, I really like Angela. She just wants whoever is willing to ask her questions to have steps and tools to improve in their own work while consistently dedicating to transforming and upleveling her own artist’s journey. She really is incredible.

Angela and I have worked together as educators for years.
My favorite things about Angela as an educator are: her kindness, her understanding, her patience, and her heart. Angela take teaching and education very seriously, developing passion in artists that may or may not already exists. Angela empowers students to reach their highest potential.
