I have been playing music with Jakov for a very long time and I can say with certainty that he is one of the best guitarists I’ve gotten to know, a very knowledgeable musician and very fun to work with. He is a very passionate and patient person and makes the working environment enjoyable. Whenever I had difficulties with certain guitar techniques he would always help me find a way to surpass the problem.

Jakov is one of the most well-versed guitarists that I have worked with professionally. We have played in many original bands over the past 3 years, and he's always been my first call for in any setting. His repertoire ranges from classical guitar (as he is a thoroughly trained classical guitarist) to contemporary subgenres of popular music. His sense of pitch is remarkable, and he can help students significantly improve their chord & note recognition through a simplified guide to ear training. He's a well-versed improviser, and a riff master. I attribute many of the best guitar riffs in my band, Voodoo Baby Aliens, to Jakov. His band Lincoln Letter further proof his songwriting and guitar playing abilities, but also showcases his solid singing. On top of everything I have mentioned, he is one of the most trustworthy people and genuine artists that I came across in my life. He can also help you improve your composition, as he graduated as a Film Scoring major at Berklee College of Music.

I met Jakov after seeing his band Lincoln Letter play. After hearing how great they sounded, I knew I had to ask him for lessons. As a teacher, Jakov was incredibly passionate and made sure to teach me in a way that made me want to play the guitar more and more after each lesson.

Jakov is one of those teachers who get you. He has a solid grasp of what a student needs to achieve their goals and is very knowledgeable about how he can get them there efficiently. If you’re looking for a great guitar teacher, look no further. Not only is he an amazing guitarist, he is a highly capable singer as well. I cannot speak highly enough of this guy.
