About Basma
I'm a maths nerd. I've always loved maths from a young age. I took the International Bacc. for high school and received a 7 grade on my Maths subject. I then went to UC Berkeley in the U.S. and studied economics and finance. I've worked in structured finance and investments for the past 5 years. :)

I believe most people thrive on some structure. So, I'll usually suggest a lesson structure that can be modified with input from the student. The first lesson will be dedicated to understanding what you need help with and creating a plan. I will always suggest a check-in at the beginning of the lesson about how you're feeling, I believe emotions need space in the learning environment to encourage full participation. I've volunteered for 6 months as a maths tutor for TeamUp, an organisation that helps underprivileged and special needs students in London. I love maths and bring that enthusiasm to every lesson!
