About Yuzu
【Beginners welcome!】Hello! I'm Hideki, friendly tutor offering personalised and interactive lessons from beginner to advanced. I was born and raised in Japan, graduated with a degree in Tokyo and London and currently working in the UK!
I've had the joy of teaching Japanese to my foreign friends, helping them become fluent when I was a student—so I've got plenty of experience making learning fun and effective for all levels! I'm passionate about sharing the Japanese language and culture with others.
Whether you're a beginner just starting out, interested in Japanese culture, or looking to improve your language skills, I'm here to help. I'm excited to get to know you and help you to speak Japanese fluently.

Perfect! Hideki is a wonderful tutor, He is patient and good at explaining things at a pace that is comfortable. He also makes the lesson fun and engaging! fully recommend booking lessons with him :)
Perfect! Hideki is an excellent tutor: he is very personable, dedicated, thoughtful and he explains things well. He is knowledgeable about Japanese culture as well as language, helping to explain how the technical things you learn apply in real-world situations. If you want to learn Japanese and have fun too, definitely book a session with Hideki!
Perfect! From the very first lesson Hideki created a very welcoming and friendly environment. He was quickly able to assess the level I was at and created a plan of action for our lessons going forwards.
