About Miles
I’m a University of Bristol Mathematics student with nearly 10 years of competitive chess experience. Over the board, I play Board 1 for the Bristol University B team and won the 2026 Under-1800 Bristol Chess Championship.
Having worked my way up the competitive ladder myself, I know exactly what it takes to break through common rating walls. I will break complex positions down into simple, logical rules so you or your child can make confident, independent decisions at the board or online.
