About Safi
Hello students! I am Ms Lor-Safi Mukadji. I am a grade 1 teacher by profession and enjoy it so much! I am a Nelson Mandela University Cum Laude graduate. I studied Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase teaching.
It is an honor for me to work with children because it brings out the best in me. It allows me an opportunity to stimulate and encourage young minds to do better in all that they do.
I am passionate about teaching, as it is very selfless in my eyes. It teaches me a lot about myself through the eyes of others. In this profession I don't only teach students but I learn more about how resilient and patient one can be.

In my classroom, we learn through sing songs and actions. This way my students can remember their sounds through music and actions. My special trait is being teachable. I allow my littles the freedom of sharing their ideas or how we can work together to improve or become better in our learning. I strive for that because we all learn differently.
All lessons are taught in English.
In my lessons, it is important that students understand learning objectives for the day. This way we all work swiftly towards a common goal. All my lessons cater for students needs and I use their prior knowledge before introducing new content.
My lessons are aimed to students that are struggling with their phonics, students who cannot decode text and students who aim to improve their reading. Ages 6-9 years old.
