About Shay
When I was 13, I bought my first “how to DJ book" . 15 years later, I’ve built a global career performing everywhere from LA to Berlin.
I’ve been fortunate enough to headline some of the biggest clubs in North America and Europe, including Exchange LA, Superior Ingredients NYC, Coda Toronto, Hardpop Juarez, and Sisyphos Berlin. I’ve opened for artists like Bart Skils, Adam Beyer, and was even part of Eli Brown’s North American tour.
Today, I tour internationally and a huge part of that love is the people that I’m lucky enough to connect with. It’s cliché, but music can save your life, and the connections you form with others through music will forever change you.
I’ve played on almost every setup out there and I can teach you how to mix any genre, though I am a techno artist professionally.

Based in LA, I offer personalized DJ lessons for all levels; all the way from first-time DJs to advanced artists refining their sound.
My lessons are hands-on and practical, focused on real-world techniques used by professional DJs and producers. Depending on your goals, we can cover:
- DJing: beatmatching, mixing, EQ and effects, transitions, track selection, set flow & music curation, Rekordbox/Serato, CDJs & controllers, club-ready (or warehouse/festival-ready) performance skills
- Career guidance: branding, how to get booked, content tips, confidence & performance mindset (I have leveraged social media to get myself bookings on festivals such as Beyond Wonderland SoCal and Rave the Planet in Berlin).
Whether you want to play your first gig or play a major festival for the first time, I’m here as a friendly face to guide you step by step and help you feel confident in the booth and in your own sound.
