I'm Sophie, your instructor, and as a Criminal Justice-Trained Addiction Recovery Coordinator with ADHD, I bring a unique blend of personal insight and professional expertise to this course. Having worked in the substance misuse sector since 2023 and healthcare since 2019, including close collaboration with probation, courts, and prisons, I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact of effective recovery strategies. My passion for teaching stems from a desire to empower you with the skills to support individuals, especially those who are neurodivergent, always emphasising good mental health and the understanding that small steps are still steps on the path to lasting recovery.
