About Chloee
Hi, my name is Chloee and a Freshman at California State University, Long Beach majoring in Computer Science. Over the past summer I worked with Google on the Computer Science Summer Institute using JavaScript to build applications, projects, and mini games as well as Ano.js where I work with a group of contributors to build web-based animations using JavaScript as well. Over the past four years I have tutored students through AOK Tutoring and Read, Write, Discover Tutoring from grades K to 6th Grade in English and STEM subjects with a concentration in Science, Math, and Computer Science. Over the past few years I have gained experience with designing material tailored to the students' strengths and weaknesses, tracking progress, and building deeper understanding in the course material. I approach each student with a variety of different teaching methodologies based off their strengths, weaknesses, and subject information. Some techniques that I commonly use are weekly evaluations to test the understanding of the material, peer code-alongs especially with CS tutoring, testing different analyzing strategies for reading comprehension, and several others.
