I am an academic with several years of experience both in academia and industry. I have a Ph.D. in IT and have done teaching of predictive analytics at the higher education level. However, I make no assumptions about your prior experience with analytics and you will find it easy and rewarding to learn machine learning concepts.

The lesson will be for you whether you have never done any machine learning analysis before or if you are to enhance your understanding of the concepts around unsupervised learning (cluster analysis) and supervised analysis (estimation/regression and classification). I will take you through the main data preparation techniques and exploratory analysis first and then, we will practice with the above machine learning concepts on some standard data sets.
