About Michael
With over 25 years drumming experience, Michael has been teaching for almost 20 years. A student of UK drumming legend Dave Hassell, he is trained in all styles from jazz to metal. He started teaching in 2007 and has grown the school into the most popular drumming school in Manchester.
One of the only full-time teachers in Manchester, he has worked with hundreds of students across all levels, from complete beginners to advanced players preparing for graded exams and live performance. Many students stay for years, developing strong technical foundations and real musical confidence, and many go on to play in bands, play professionally and become teachers themselves.

Who we are
Based right in City Centre Manchester and with a roster of over 100 students, we are the most popular Drumming School in the North West.
Our mission
Is to provide the best drum tuition possible, tailoring the lessons to each student. We can prepare you for exams, teach you how to read music or just jam along to your favourite songs!
What we do
We provide one to one drum lessons to students of all ages, covering all styles of music and all levels of ability. We also offer intensive drumming courses and online drum lessons!
Practice Rooms
No drum kit? No problem! We offer practice rooms to students so they can not only have the best drum tuition available but also practice on their own with real acoustic drums in the city centre studio as much as they want.
