About Ilsa
With a wealth of teaching experience under my belt, I have navigated through a variety of educational environments since 2004, from international schools teaching Portuguese Language and Literature at all levels to leading creative endeavours like short films, plays, and graphic novels.
Armed with a degree in Portuguese Language and Literature and a History teaching certificate from Veiga de Almeida University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, my professional journey has spanned tutoring, research, and translation for a broad spectrum of clients, including universities, businesses, and individuals. This eclectic background equips me with the ability to deliver engaging, multifaceted lessons tailored to learning Portuguese in its entirety.
Currently, I provide both personal and online lessons via Skype, catering to students as young as children to adults, across all levels of proficiency, and focusing on both general and business-oriented Portuguese.
If you're seeking to enhance your proficiency in Portuguese, be it through reading, writing, speaking, or listening, I invite you to reach out. My Skype-based lessons offer unparalleled flexibility and effectiveness, simplifying your path to linguistic improvement.
