About Kate
I am a dedicated Singing tutor with 10 years of experience, having taught 150–200 students from beginners to advanced performers. My teaching philosophy emphasises personalised learning, tailoring each lesson to the student’s goals, abilities, and pace. I combine technical training with creative exercises to help students build skill, confidence, and artistry.
In my lessons, students focus on breath control, pitch, tone, rhythm, and performance skills. I integrate structured exercises with interactive practices to make learning both productive and enjoyable. Beyond technical development, I guide students in emotional expression and stage presence, helping them perform with poise and authenticity.
Known for my patience, empathy, and motivating teaching style, I create a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their voice and achieve their full potential. My goal is to help students discover their unique voice and cultivate a lifelong love for music

My Singing teaching strategy offers gentle guidance for confident singing. I follow a flexible method that adapts lessons to each student’s strengths and challenges.
Empathy allows me to connect deeply with students. I teach with compassion and patience, helping learners feel relaxed and supported throughout their vocal journey.
Communication is open and motivating. I explain singing techniques such as breath support, pitch control, tone shaping, and expression in easy language. I provide continuous feedback to guide improvement.
Collaboration is a key part of my lessons. I work closely with students to choose songs, plan practice routines, and set achievable goals. In addition to Singing, I teach supportive subjects such as rhythm basics, ear training, music theory fundamentals, and performance preparation.
