About Pavan
Hi, I'm Pavan! I'm a Backend Java Software Professional based in Bangalore, currently working as a Senior Software Engineer, where I build real, production-level software used by real companies. I hold a degree in Information Science and have spent years working across Java, Spring Boot, and cloud systems, while also mentoring junior engineers at work which is really where my love for teaching started. Outside of my day job, I stay curious myself, constantly learning new things like AI and machine learning, which keeps me close to what it feels like to be a beginner. When I'm not working, I enjoy staying active and exploring new interests outside of tech, which keeps me balanced and helps me bring fresh energy into my teaching. I started teaching because I love that moment when a concept finally clicks for someone and I'd love to help create that moment for you too.

Writing real code beats memorizing syntax every time. My sessions follow a simple build, break, and debug cycle: we start coding right away, run into problems, figure out what's going wrong, and work through them together. That moment when something finally clicks? Students experience it firsthand.
Instead of long slide decks and lectures, I use short, hands-on projects and practical problem-solving. The goal is to keep classes focused, engaging, and fun—even when the bugs are stubborn.
Class Structure
Every session is designed to keep students actively involved:
The 5-Minute Warm-Up:
A quick recap of the previous session that leads naturally into the day's challenge.
Core Concept Breakdown:
A clear, straightforward explanation of the main idea, without unnecessary jargon or theory.
Live Build & Debug:
Students spend most of the session actually coding. They write the code, test different cases, find bugs, and solve problems in real time.
Industry Connection:
We finish by connecting the concepts to real software and production systems, so students understand not just "how" something works, but "why" it matters.
What Sets Me Apart
I'm not an academic teaching from an outdated curriculum. I'm a backend software engineer who works on real-world distributed systems, and I bring that experience directly into the classroom.
I help students connect the fundamentals of computer science, backend development, and AI/ML to the systems they see in the real world. I've also mentored junior developers in fast-paced engineering environments, which has taught me how to break down complicated technical ideas into simple, understandable steps—and to be patient when something doesn't make sense right away.
Who It's For
These sessions are designed for curious and ambitious learners between the ages of 9 and 18.
Young Beginners (9–13):
Learn through game logic, simple algorithms, loops, and small projects that turn curiosity into working code.
Teens & Advanced Students (14–18):
Go deeper into object-oriented programming, data structures, backend development, software engineering concepts, and the foundations of modern AI/ML.
Job Prep and Mock Interviews (Student and Professionals above 16 years):
Students preparing to enter the job market or professionals who want to change their career. There will be focused mock interview practice, resume and portfolio guidance, and realistic feedback on both their technical skills and interview presence
Every track is adjusted to the student's current level, so they're challenged without feeling overwhelmed and steadily pushed toward becoming a confident, capable problem solver.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
I met Pavan through LinkedIn, where a mutual friend recommended him to me. He is a really good mentor who explains Java concepts clearly and patiently, and makes sure you actually understand the topic instead of just memorizing things. I’ve found his guidance very practical and easy to follow, especially when it comes to improving coding and problem-solving skills. I would definitely recommend Pavan to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive Java mentor.
I have worked under him in the same company; he was my mentor. He has a unique talent for helping people understand things above and beyond. I can't boast enough about his natural ability to explain complex concepts. It just got me hooked, and I did learn a lot from him. He is indeed unique, not a bit old-fashioned in his teaching style; it's modern, fun, and practical. It was indeed a privilege to learn from him.
