About Dania
I am a fresh graduate from York University where I majored in biomedical sciences. I have been tutoring since I was in high school and have become increasingly fond of this job. I keep my job highly professional but also like to create a safe space and environment for my students so that when they come to my sessions, we have a great time. I use an online teaching format with individual sessions. This helps me focus on one student at a time which has increased student outcome as my students are more comfortable learning with me. A typical session would include an intro to what topics will be discussed, answering any questions from the previous lesson, teaching new lesson and getting class work started. These sessions can be for students who are in grade 11- university level classes.
I am a very organized and talented tutor with not only excellence in academics but also in creative pursuits. I use my iPad to teach and share my notebooks to ensure there is a visual component to my teaching. I am sure you will enjoy having a friend as a tutor as well because I love to make meaningful connections with my students.
