About Daniel
Welcome, My name is Dan. I've been in healthcare since 2013 when I became a CNA. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 from Viterbo University in La Crosse WI. Since then I've worked in several different healthcare settings such as: Med/Surg, Home Health, Nursing Clinical Instructor, Sedation Nursing, Emergency Room, Travel Nursing, and Corrections Nursing. Since my career background has been so diverse I have an improved understanding of many different healthcare settings and these experiences have helped me to continue to learn and adapt to many situations and challenges. I'd like to share my experience with you and help you achieve your goals in your nursing career.

I prefer to teach students not what to think but how to think. Also known as critical thinking, this is especially useful in test taking. To me it not as important to memorize a list of medical treatments or medications, but rather to understand how and why those treatment or medications are to be applied. Critical thinking is what sets apart great nurses from others.
These lessons are for students pursuing a nursing degree or in preparatory classes for a nursing program. Lesson structures are kept open ended to encourage Q and A between myself and students.
