About Arlana
I am a musician born in Juiz de Fora-MG with experience in the classical and popular field since 2008, having participated in several choirs, festivals and musical events since then. I am a piano technician at the Haidèe France Americano State Conservatory of Music (CEM-HFA) since 2016, where I also studied guitar and recorder for some years. In 2018, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Fernando Vago, I graduated in Bachelor of Piano at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). That same year I started conducting my studies in conducting, under the guidance of Prof. Me. Willsterman Sottani, a role that I have played in front of the Academic Choir and Academic Orchestra of UFJF. I am currently a bachelor in Singing with Prof. Me. Dr. Taís Bandeira and I am specializing in Music Education and Arts Teaching. In addition to working with the practical side of music, I am also a teacher of piano, singing, keyboard, music theory, recorder and guitar, having taught both at institutions such as the State Conservatory of Music HFA as well as in private lessons.

Because I went through a Conservatory and also had practical experiences in the popular, I like to mix the two ideas. I work with the theoretical (reading of scores, chords and figures) and the practical side of music, but also the use of auditory memory and popular references as a teaching method, so as to be able to offer a complete view of what may appear musically for those who are looking for my guidance. In addition, I seek to teach according to personal taste and purpose and also to remedy possible blockages and problems encountered by offering materials and exercises focused on a solution.

Conheci a Profa. Arlana em um projeto de canto coral na nossa cidade, fui aluno por um pouco mais de um ano.
Logo no começo fui impactado pela sua genialidade. A condução dos grupos, pra mim, era perfeita. Profa. Arlana é uma verdadeira malabarista com sua atenção e dedicação voltadas para TODOS os coralistas. Todos os ensaios eram produtivos e construídos para que conseguíssemos seguir sua regência com esforço, porém sem desespero.
Didática muito confortável, escuta impressionante (!) ativa e estratégica. Fui muitíssimo feliz cantando no Coral Akorin, sinto saudades diariamente das aulas e até mesmo das temidas apresentações (uma dificuldade pessoal rs). Professora Arlana, MUITO OBRIGADO! Conheci a Arlana no coral Àkorín. Assim que vi o anúncio da formação do coral me inscrevi. Está sendo uma experiência muito positiva. Ela é SUPER profissional. 2) For classes that are at the person's preferred location, other than at my residence, a detachment fee will be charged according to the distance.
