I am a certified Canadian teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Education with a specialty in History, Social Studies, and English Language Arts. I have five years of classroom teaching experience, four years of which included instruction at the high school level.

My focus is on the needs of the student and a consistent, intentional program of study. In order to achieve these instructional goals, I work to ensure that resources are relevant to students' area of study (both in the regional and academic sense), students are involved in their own assessment, and tutoring time is structured but adaptable to students' needs.
