About Sadia
I’m Sadia, a passionate ICT & Computing educator with over 11 years of experience teaching the UK curriculum and GEMS schools in Dubai. I specialize in coding, robotics, AI tools, and digital skills, making learning fun, interactive, and practical. With a Computer Science Engineering degree and a UAE teaching license, I’ve taught students aged 7–18, coached robotics teams for national competitions, and led innovation projects that inspire creativity and problem-solving. My lessons are hands-on, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s needs—whether they’re beginners, need extra support, or are aiming for competition-level mastery. My mission is simple: empower students with skills for the future and help them enjoy the journey of learning technology.

My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching
Techniques and Teaching Methodology
I take a student-centered, hands-on approach, blending structured instruction with interactive, project-based learning. I use real-world applications, coding challenges, robotics tasks, and design thinking activities to make concepts meaningful and engaging. My methodology combines scaffolded learning—breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps—with opportunities for students to explore and problem-solve independently. I also integrate AI tools, gamification, and cross-curricular links (e.g., robotics in math) to cater to different learning styles and keep lessons dynamic.
Typical Length of a Lesson
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I can adapt to shorter sessions for younger learners or extended workshops for in-depth project work. Each lesson follows a clear structure: a short recap or warm-up, focused teaching of new concepts, guided practice, independent work, and reflection.
Qualifications and Experience
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology (Computer Science) and am a licensed educator with over 10 years of experience teaching Computing and Design & Technology in the UK curriculum. I have served as Head of Innovation & Technology Integration, led interschool innovation competitions, coached robotics teams for FLL and Unified Robotics, and delivered teacher training on educational technology integration. I am also certified as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and currently pursuing Applied Data Science & AI from IIT Delhi

Who My Lessons Are For
My tutoring caters to students aged 7–18 (KS2–KS4) who want to develop skills in Computing, ICT, Robotics, Programming (Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS, SQL, C/C++), AI concepts, and digital literacy. I also support gifted students aiming for competition readiness and learners needing additional academic support in building confidence with technology.
