About Stefani
As a Bachelor of Education student at USask with a passion for teaching and a background in tutoring, I am eager to contribute my skills and dedication to supporting youth in achieving their academic goals. I have been an active member of a tutoring club where I occasionally assisted younger students with their studies. This experience not only reinforced my love for teaching but also allowed me to develop effective communication and instructional skills. Working one-on-one with students has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and fostering a positive learning environment all qualities I believe are essential for any educator. Pursuing a career in teaching is my ultimate goal and I view this tutoring opportunity as a valuable step toward that path.Thank you for your time. My teaching approach would be based off the students starting capability. This would be assessed based on age, grade and current standing. I believe speech and reading comprehension as well as writing is a crutual starting point for grades k-6 thus making it my main point of focus for their lesson plans. I am able to provide writing help pages and note books as well as level specific novels. Lessons will encourage a love for English by utilizing games, pictures and engaging stories. For grades 7-12 lessons would be structured around their class lessons. This includes help with homework or novel comprehension. If additional help with grammar, reading or speaking is needed this can be added into lesson plans. I believe it is important to bring the student up to their age appropriate level while encouraging a love for the English language in all its forms.
