About Hassan
I have been teaching SketchUp physically for the past 3 years, helping students learn 3D modeling through practical and easy-to-understand methods. During my university experience, I also noticed that many students struggled with design software, so I helped them learn SketchUp and improve their modeling skills.
Now, I want to bring this experience to online classes and help students discover their interest in architecture and design from an early stage. Architecture is not only about 3D modeling—it is about creativity, spaces, homes, furniture, and turning ideas into something we can see and experience. Through SketchUp, I want to make learning creative, practical, and enjoyable while helping students build skills and confidence for their future.

My teaching approach is practical, project-based, and focused on developing real SketchUp modeling skills rather than simply teaching commands. With 3 years of experience teaching SketchUp and around 6 years of experience working in the architectural and design field, I focus on helping students understand how and why different modeling techniques are used.
In my classes, I teach students how to create the same design element using different methods, and then explain which method is more efficient, accurate, and suitable for a particular project. I strongly focus on problem-solving, because professional SketchUp modeling is not only about knowing tools—it is about knowing how to approach a modeling problem and find the right solution.
My lessons include step-by-step demonstrations, practical exercises, guided modeling, individual feedback, and real-project examples. As students progress, I gradually reduce guidance and encourage them to solve modeling problems independently. I also teach professional workflows such as creating clean and organized models, using components and groups correctly, developing detailed architectural models, and improving modeling speed and accuracy.
A typical lesson is 1.5 to 2 hours long, depending on the student's level, project, and learning goals. I prefer longer sessions because they allow us to understand a topic properly, practice it, and apply it to an actual model instead of rushing through the lesson.
I am currently in the final year of my Bachelor of Architecture, and I have 3 years of experience teaching SketchUp. My students have achieved very good results through my practical teaching approach, and I always try to adapt my teaching style according to each student's learning speed and ability.
My lessons are suitable for different age groups and goals. For students aged 6–12, I focus on creativity, spatial thinking, basic 3D design, and fun project-based modeling to help develop their creative and technical skills.
For students aged 12–18, I introduce more architectural and design-oriented projects. This allows them to explore whether architecture, interior design, 3D modeling, or another creative design field could be a suitable future career for them.
I also welcome university students and beginners who want to learn SketchUp for professional architectural use. For these students, I focus more deeply on architectural modeling, detailed 3D development, efficient workflows, real project requirements, and professional modeling techniques.
My goal is not simply to teach students how to use SketchUp, but to help them become confident problem-solvers who can independently create, understand, and develop their own 3D designs.
