About Blake
I am a London-based sound editor with over a decade of experience in audio post-production. My work spans drama, film, documentaries and reality TV, and I have also sound-designed and mixed award-winning short films and branded content.
I work mostly as a sound effects editor now, with credits including Return To Paradise (BBC), Population: 11 (Stan Australia), Dive Club (Netflix/Paramount), and Two Years Later (Paramount+).
I trained at the Australian Film Television & Radio School (AFTRS) and have worked across feature films, episodic drama, and high-end factual content. My work has been recognised with awards for Best Sound Design at FIFF London and the Macon Film Festival.
I am passionate about helping the next generation of sound editors navigate the industry. I know how difficult it can be to break in, build a network, and develop the skills needed to work at a professional level. I offer practical, no-nonsense mentoring that focuses on real-world workflow, creative problem-solving, and the soft skills that supervisors, mixers, directors and producers actually care about.
When I am not editing, I enjoy seeing live music, travelling Europe, and catching whatever sun London has to offer. I am based in North London and work remotely with students across the UK and internationally.

With over a decade of experience as an audio post-production professional, now specialising as a Sound Effects Editor on film and drama productions for BBC, Netflix, Paramount+ and Lionsgate, I offer mentoring for aspiring and early-career sound editors looking to break into TV and film post-production.
Whether you want to improve your Pro Tools workflow, learn how to build immersive atmospheres and spot FX, or understand how to work effectively with directors, producers, sound supervisors and re-recording mixers, I can tailor sessions to your specific goals.
I have worked on projects ranging from Australian outback drama (Population: 11) to action series (Dive Club) and murder mysteries (Return To Paradise). My approach is practical, industry-focused, and grounded in the realities of working to tight deadlines in a freelance environment.
