About Alison Elizabeth
I have tutored, coached, and taught students and professionals for over a decade in various subjects, from high school to grad school, even other professional educators online.
I'm an award winning research PhD with multiple master's degrees and a teaching credential, with qualifications and experience in education and teaching, sociology, medical and health sciences, archaeology and anthropology. I am a published international scholar with research experience in diversity, equity & inclusion, academic socialization, bacterial cell biology, and evolutionary biology / anthropology.
I work with scholars on book manuscripts as an acquisitions editor at an academic press, I’m an independent researcher, and also a top-rated 5* editor on Reedsy.

Details
In addition to the tutoring hour via webcam online (you don't have to keep your camera on) I also provide an additional 30 min of marking/editing after each session so you have written examples and explanations on where you are struggling. This helps us to iterate and tailor the lesson plans/approach as we go.
