About Jonty
Hey there! My name is Jonty and I'm a professional saxophonist, educator and composer. My career has taken me all over the world, playing a huge variety of music. Most recently playing at Mount Everest Basecamp, setting a world record for the highest altitude saxophone performance.
Alongside my professional work, I’m very passionate about teaching and music exposure. I believe teaching should be more than simply learning the notes, it’s about developing the confidence, musicality, creativity to genuinely enjoy of playing.
Whether you’re picking up the saxophone for the first time, looking to develop your technique, preparing for an audition, or wanting to take your playing to a professional level, I’ll tailor each lesson to you and your goals.
My aim is to help you become the musician you want to be, while making sure every lesson is enjoyable, practical and inspiring.
