About Jose
I’m Jose Zambrano Cassella, an award-winning director, cinematographer, and editor with over 20 years of professional experience. I’ve directed feature films, shot more than 2,000 international commercials, and worked with global brands like Apple and Nike. Over the years, I’ve built countless pitch presentations to secure financing and support, and I know first-hand what makes a deck stand out.
The best pitch decks don’t just present information, they transport you into the story. My approach is cinematic: a single image can take you inside that world, making your project unforgettable to investors, producers, or festivals. Beyond the big sets, I’m passionate about mentoring and helping others grow as storytellers. I know what it’s like to start with limited resources and build a career step by step. My method is practical, creative, and supportive, giving students the tools and confidence to present their stories with clarity and impact.

1) Story First – Deep read of your script or project to fully understand its world.
2) Crafting the Copy – Build a sharp logline, focused synopsis, and “Why This Film” section, plus comparable titles that investors expect.
3) Designing the World – Use AI tools, Photoshop, and Illustrator to generate visuals that submerge the reader in your story.
4) Directing on the Page – Learn how to guide your audience visually and emotionally, almost like directing the film itself.
5) Assembly & Layout – Combine words and images into a professional, polished deck that feels investor-ready.
My approach is cinematic, hands-on, and practical. By the end, you’ll know not just how to make a deck, but how to sell your story with clarity and impact.
