Jaymeni was one of my lecturers/tutors during my architectural studio class in my undergraduate studies at the University of Manchester. As an international student, I remember always preferring to discuss my work with her compared to other tutors because she understood my background and needs more deeply. Like a true Superprof, she guided me step by step until I gained the confidence to design and present my work to the whole class.

Jaymeni was my 2nd year in BA Arch tutor at the University of Manchester. She always went above and beyond for her students. I got to visit her office and meet her colleagues, work there and gain knowledge from working professionals while studying which was absolutely invaluable experience as a young student. Without exageration, Jaymeni was my best lecturer at the University of Salford where I got a BTech in Construcion with a distinction, BSc in Architectural Design and Technology, MSc in BIM and Digital Built Environments. She lectures with such clarity and fluency. I always looked forward to her lectures and never missed any of of them. She played a massive role for me to acquire the knowledge I'm proud of today.

Jay is a great tutor who has an experience in a variety of different projects. Jay liked to use group sessions to help inspire creativity and critical thinking skills with our design work. Jaymeni was my tutor at the Manchester School of Architecture. I would absolutely recommend her. She has an excellent, well-rounded knowledge of architectural design, current research development and the business side of architecture, drawing from her many years of experience as a practicing architect. She was one of the few tutors I found that was fair and friendly but was still able to challenge us to improve our work. Her industry experience gave us valuable context as to what opportunities were out there and how to build useful networks.

Jaymeni taught me across numerous modules during my time at Salford university whilst I was studying architectural design and technology.

Jaymeni is a hands on tutor who always loves to sketch points out which makes it easier as a student to understand. She always took on board what we as young designers where trying to achieve with our design ideas and pointed us in the right direction. If a design idea we had didn't quite work she would thoroughly explain to us why it did not work and show us alternative ways to think and how to explore new ideas.

Jaymeni is also very good at growing students confidence. I was not the best hand drawer and hated doing hand sketches because I was not confident in the quality of my drawings, Jaymeni instilled a confidence in me that my hand sketching was good enough and now that I run my own practice, I use hand sketching on every project!

I genuinely can not recommend Jaymeni enough. If it wasn't for her I would not have advanced through my studies and be where I am today.
