About Salonee
I have never tutored professionally before but I am willing to use my previous instructor skills as a base to grow and learn as well.
I’ve instructed children in a studio for dance and have the experience of taking on a lead and understanding team dynamics. I have learned many techniques to improve a learning environment while also keeping it fun for children.

Private tutoring helps with focusing on one student at a time to help them excel in their subject. I prefer teaching in person but I am willing to try online as well.
For my teaching style, I like to know how the student approaches the problem first and from there, discuss where to make changes or imply simpler methods.
I like to give a simple analogy at the start for clarifications, work through questions together and then ask the student to complete a few questions on their own. This is where in-person is preferable because I am able to see their work behind problem-solving.
In the end, I will send/give a worksheet for them to complete and bring back for me to mark.
