About Gretchen
It is great to assist students in becoming strong drafters and designers. I have been a 3D modeler for the past ten years, which is a very exciting career path. Learning to see in 3D really captures students' attention but more importantly makes them better builders. When modeling, students become part of the entire building envelope team, which exposes one to lots of interests and opportunities.

I think it is important to determine the student's skill level to know how to best use our time together. I feel hands-on tutoring is the most efficient. I like to demonstrate and then the student works on the task with assistance. I have trained students and professionals. Drafting and Design software is a fast-moving product and therefore those using the project can range from beginners through professionals. I always enjoy the ongoing challenges drafting presents and my passion has never really dimmed during the 25 years I have been working.
