About Jacob
Hello, I am Jacob and I have been playing trumpet for 9 years. I am currently a high school student entering my senior year and have earned 11th Chair in the ATSSB Symphonic Band during my junior year of high school. My goal is to become a band director, and I enjoy helping younger musicians develop their skills and confidence. My lessons are designed for beginning and middle school trumpet players.

My lessons are designed for beginning and middle school trumpet players I focus on building strong fundamentals, including tone production, breathing, articulation, posture, rhythm, music reading, and proper practice habits. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual needs and goals. A typical lesson includes warm-ups, technique exercises, work on band music or assignments, and tips for improving at home between lessons. I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students can ask questions and grow at their own pace.As a current student musician, I understand the challenges that young trumpet players face because I have recently gone through the same learning process myself. My experience, patience, and passion for music education help me connect with students and make learning both productive and enjoyable.
