About Brittany
I am an attentive piano tutor with 5 years of experience teaching students of all levels. I have successfully guided around 190 students, helping them build strong technical skills and a lasting appreciation for music. My teaching method for Piano, Music Theory, and Rhythm Training reflects five years of helping students strengthen their fundamentals through attentive, personalized coaching.
Attentiveness shapes how I run each session, since I closely observe how a student responds to new material and adjust exercises based on what actually helps them progress.
Consistency matters greatly in my approach. I encourage regular, manageable practice routines so students build coordination and confidence steadily rather than in bursts.
Encouragement plays a strong role throughout my lessons, since piano can feel demanding early on, so I make sure to recognize small wins to keep learners engaged.
Lessons begin with hand posture and finger exercises, move into note reading and simple rhythm patterns, and gradually introduce music theory basics such as scales and chords.
As students progress, I add sight reading and ear training exercises to build overall musicianship, along with expression work for those interested in performance.
I tailor every session to each student's personal goals, whether learning for enjoyment, preparing for exams, or building toward advanced study. My aim is an attentive, encouraging space where every student grows steadily.
