About Faye
Hi there! My name is Faye and I will be 21 years old this year. If you’re curious about some of my hobbies, I enjoy playing video games, drawing and singing.
I’m a fun and bubbly individual, so I will try and make the sessions much more enjoyable rather than a boring session with a bunch of words on a page. Needless to say, I’m also a very determined person in which I will do my absolute best to ensure improvements in your essay writing.
I’m a big advocate for small breaks during studying or even tutoring because let’s be honest, who can focus on a person teaching for that long so if you ever need a moment, just let me know and we can take a break in which you can either go get some fresh air or we can have a small chat to make the study space much more comfortable for you to work with.
I will admit that this will be the first time officially tutoring people, I usually just help my close friends with their essays but I thought this might be fun so here I am! I hope you consider me despite that, and I sincerely hope that we can work together and I can help you out with anything essay and analysis related that you may need! Thanks for reading!

I used to study IB (International Baccalaureate) so I believe that I have abilities to help with any future or current Year 11 - 12 students that may be struggling with essay writing and extract analysis.
A typical session should only be around 1 to 2 hours long.
Before the first ever session, it would be very much appreciated for an example of a previous piece of essay writing to be sent to me to read and cater to help with anything that I believe you could improve on.
In the first ever session, I will begin by teaching and giving tips on one of the easiest and best way to format an essay. The PEAL or PEZEL format. This includes the format for the introduction, body paragraphs and the conclusion. Examples will be given to help with the format understanding. If you had sent an example of writing beforehand, I will then use your essay to compare and eventually integrate the format introduced to you into your writing (or maybe help with adding a few more extra ways you could improve if the essay is already incredible). If you haven’t added, I would bring examples of different ways of essay writing and compare as well as example why the format I teach would flow in a much more understanding matter to an examiner. I will also show much the ‘bad’ essay can be reformatted into a ‘good’ essay.
In my next sessions, I am happy to help check for improvement in essay writing and help further establish the format into your essay writing. If not, I am also happy to teach about different English techniques used in literature, their symbolism and so forth, while also teaching ways you may be much more easier to catch these techniques used in your future tests for your extract analysis essay.
My methods for my tutoring session may defer to cater to other peoples needs and abilities.
