About Elaine
Hi! I’m Elaine, a graduate from Brisbane State High School and a tutor with nearly two years of experience.
I’m currently studying physics at UQ, and outside of university I’m involved in competitive swimming. Balancing training and academics over time has shaped my approach to consistency, resilience, and how I approach others in different environments.
I enjoy working with students to help them feel supported and more confident while providing practical strategies they can use to improve their academic performance.

Having recently graduated from the QCE system, I understand how overwhelming it can be to juggle multiple subjects, expectations, and extra curricular activities.
I aim to create a space where students feel comfortable while still being challenged to improve. I focus not only on understanding content, but also on building confidence, strong habits, and a mindset that supports students both in and beyond the classroom.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes and tailored to each student’s learning style, goals, and personality. I adjust how I explain concepts and structure sessions to keep things engaging, productive, and suited to each student.
