About Cidra
Hello! My name is Cidra, and I’m a senior Biology major at Arizona State University (Barrett Honors College) with professional experience as a preschool teacher and private tutor. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of helping students from preschool through high school build academic skills, curiosity, and confidence. My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I create a calm, positive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My lessons blend academic rigor with creativity — from interactive activities for younger learners to practical study techniques for older students. As a former preschool teacher in Scottsdale, I know how to engage students at every developmental level. I focus on understanding how each student learns best, breaking complex ideas into simple steps, and celebrating progress along the way.
