About Robyn
My name is Robyn, I'm currently a 1st year student at St Andrews University and I wanted to tutor as it's great for keeping my previous knowledge fresh with flexible working hours. I also enjoy the process of helping other people understand a subject that I am passionate about! I'd like to be a positive influence on someone's understanding of the subject.

Weekly lesson plans based on curriculum and areas that require assistance. My typical lesson would be an hour long, firstly explaining theory on chosen area, then worked examples to support the theory on Jamboard, an interactive whiteboard software through Google (or whiteboard feature on Teams). This is also great to allow students to work on an exercise next, and where there is struggle, we can focus further and use alternative methods to support their learning style. I find this really helps, and as someone who is still a student at university, it's easy to understand where students are struggling and be able to provide alternative explanations to help. Then moving on to past papers once confident in individual areas! I also encourage the use of notes to refer back to. My qualifications are an A1 at Advanced Higher, Higher and National 5 Mathematics, also an A at Higher Physics. I'm also currently an Astrophysics and Maths student at St Andrews University. My lessons are aimed at students studying at National 5, Higher or equivalents to these levels.

Robyn is hardworking, brilliant and dedicated lady in all aspects of her life. She is a pleasure to talk to and enjoys supporting her students. The only person I know that makes math fun!!
Robyn is a family member and has tutored my daughter when she was struggling with National 5 and Higher Maths. She went into detail and broke down and explained the different areas my daughter was struggling with and made it more simple for her to understand.
