About Aminah
I have taught all years from Year 7 - 13 at GCSE and A-Level Religious Studies and Philosophy
I have a good understanding of the new Specs and experience across different exam boards, I have also attended various training sessions and meetings with Exam Boards for the new Specifications.
I have previous experience as Head of Department and teaching A-Level and GCSE alongside my previous role of SENDCo 11-18 and current role of Assistant Principal for Safeguarding and SEND.
My degree is in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Nottingham which aids me alongside my teaching experience.
I have also completed teacher training gaining QTS and masters modules in Education and Behaviour completed in Sheffield.

As a teacher I am aware of what you need in order to understand and succeed in your GCSE/A-Level. I have access to extra material to support you alongside my own teaching practice.
My teaching method is to make the content understandable by breaking it down and finding the best way to revise and learn based on your individual needs. This will involve me explaining the content to you, providing content and revision resources and worksheets where possible and going through the specified Exam Board content.
As a teacher and tutor I am approachable and bubbly, and would ensure you are comfortable as you learn/revise.
