About Carissa
I am a sophomore at the University of Denver. I was a student assistant in high school for AP and honors biology, AP Environmental Science, and AP and honors computer science. I have participated in speech and debate for two years and have volunteered with children at my church and its summer camp.

I base my lessons on the learning methods that worked for me, but I am adaptable to students' unique learning styles. I like to include various sensory methods of interacting with content, i.e. visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, when possible. I aim to share my passion for science.
