About Daniela
I’m a fluent Spanish speaker and college Spanish major who genuinely loves helping students learn and feel good about their progress. As an aspiring middle school Spanish teacher, I enjoy creating lessons that are fun, engaging, and supportive. I know that learning a new language can feel scary at first, so I focus on making my lessons welcoming and low-pressure. I’m patient, encouraging, and always happy to explain things as many times as needed. My goal is to help students feel comfortable practicing, asking questions, and making mistakes—because that’s how learning really happens. Whether a student needs help with homework, wants to strengthen their Spanish class skills, or is just starting out, I’m here to support them every step of the way. I care about building confidence just as much as building Spanish skills, and I always bring a positive, friendly attitude to each lesson.

As a fluent Spanish speaker and college Spanish major, my approach to tutoring is student-centered, encouraging, and engaging. I believe that learning a language should feel accessible and confidence-building, for all learners regardless of their proficiency level. I focus on a balance of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with an emphasis on real-life communication. I challenge students while adapting my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and goals. Each lesson usually begins with reviewing material from any previous instruction in lessons or classes. We then introduce or practice a key topic (such as verb tenses, vocabulary themes, or sentence structure) through examples and guided exercises. Lessons often end with a speaking activity or short reflection to help students apply what they’ve learned. As an aspiring middle school Spanish teacher, I bring both passion and purpose to my tutoring. I am patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping students feel proud of their progress. Because I am actively studying Spanish at the college level, I understand both the academic expectations and the challenges students face when learning a new language. My lessons are ideal for middle school and high school students, beginners through intermediate learners, and students who want extra support for Spanish classes or to build conversational confidence. I especially enjoy working with younger learners and students who may feel intimidated by Spanish and want a positive, encouraging learning environment.
