About Abubakar

I am currently pushing towards my ambition to work as an engineer and am happy to aid students with their studies in maths. I have a track record of excellence in maths: achieving a grade 9 in GCSE and A* at A-level a year early where I achieved the highest mark ever at my school. I know what works and am very willing to share the secrets to success.

About the lesson

My teaching is centred around fully developing a student's core understanding of mathematical concepts. I ensure to equip students with the tools needed to succeed in their examinations by guiding them through the logical thinking required to tackle a range of problems. My lessons are aimed at students looking to push towards the top grades and will boost their proficiency in maths. This is through strengthening key ideas in topics like algebra and trigonometry. Ultimately, I aim to help students realise their full potential.

The lesson duration is usually 1 hour however I am open to arranging longer sessions. This will comprise of a thorough introduction to the foundations underpinning a specific area of maths before going through example problems.
