About Dinda
I graduated from Trinity University with a Bachelors of Arts in Studio art and a Masters of Arts in Teaching. I have student taught from grades Pre-K through 12th grade and have a diverse art background. I love trying out different media whether it be ceramics, sculpture, different kinds of painting, drawing, photography (digital and film), printmaking, multimedia, and collage.

My philosophy when it comes to teaching art is that students will be able to find their voice, express themselves, learn how to solve problems creatively, and benefit from the therapeutic aspects of creating in my classroom. Every student deserves to be heard and to be taken seriously. Mutual respect, empathy, and equity are all big parts of my classroom environment and I do my best to create a safe space where students feel like they can open up. I hope to help my students explore real-life issues through art, realize the importance that art holds in the world-wide community, benefit from collaborative efforts with their peers, and approach art-making with a growth mindset.
