About Victor
With 17 years of professional tutoring experience, I teach Saxophone to school students, college learners, and working professionals. I focus on helping students build strong fundamentals and enjoy the learning process.
My teaching philosophy centres on understanding music clearly and applying it practically. I use real-life examples and step-by-step guidance to help students connect theory with performance.
I believe in clear communication, patience, and honesty. Lessons are conducted in a supportive environment where students feel comfortable and motivated. I also guide students in developing discipline and consistent practice habits.
My lessons cover breathing control, embouchure development, tone quality, finger technique, rhythm accuracy, scales, sight reading, and musical expression. I also help students prepare for performances and assessments.
Over the years, many of my students have gained confidence and improved their performance skills. Teaching saxophone continues to be a rewarding experience for me.

My saxophone teaching methodology is based on understanding, communication, and real-life application. I believe students should understand music deeply, not just play notes. I use real-life examples and case studies to show how techniques are used in performances.
I begin by understanding the student’s background and goals. Lessons are customised to suit their learning speed. I focus on core skills such as breath support, tone clarity, finger accuracy, articulation, scales, and rhythm. Regular practice of these skills helps steady improvement.
Clear communication is central to my teaching. I explain lessons using simple language and repeat important points when needed. Students are encouraged to ask questions.
Integrity shapes my teaching style. I provide honest guidance and motivate students to practice with discipline. Along with saxophone lessons, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, improvisation basics, and sight reading. My goal is to help students grow into confident saxophone players.
