About Amar
I am a dedicated Piano tutor with over 5 years of experience teaching college students. I enjoy helping students improve their musical skills through lessons that are easy to understand, practical, and enjoyable. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident to learn and grow.
My teaching style is patient, interactive, and focused on individual learning needs. I explain every topic in simple English and use practical demonstrations to make difficult concepts easier. I encourage students to ask questions and practice regularly so they can build confidence with every lesson.
To make learning more effective, I use innovative methods such as digital piano resources, rhythm training, ear training, creative exercises, and personalized practice plans. These methods help students stay motivated while improving both technical and creative skills.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, and musical expression. I provide regular feedback and practical guidance to help students achieve steady progress and become confident piano players.

My teaching methodology is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, and encouragement. I believe every student learns in a unique way, so I design lessons that match individual abilities, interests, and musical goals. My classes are friendly, interactive, and focused on helping students enjoy learning while building strong piano skills.
Students begin with the basics of proper posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. Once these skills are well developed, they move on to scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, articulation, sight reading, expressive playing, and performance preparation. I make sure every topic is fully understood before introducing new concepts.
My lessons include demonstrations, guided practice, listening activities, and regular revision. I explain each concept in simple English and encourage students to ask questions freely. Personalized practice plans and continuous feedback help students improve with confidence.
Students explore different musical styles, including classical, pop, gospel, movie themes, and contemporary music. I also encourage improvisation, accompaniment, and creative interpretation to help students develop their own musical expression.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, rhythm development, sight reading, music appreciation, performance preparation, and beginner composition. These additional subjects help students become complete and confident musicians.
My goal is to inspire students to enjoy every lesson, achieve their musical goals, and develop a lifelong passion for piano and music.
