About Katya
My name is Kat and I am a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art class 2024. Since graduating, I have been working in Paris as a consultant and publicist for international artists. Most predominantly Japanese, American and European artists. I curate shows and work helping artists present themselves to wider audiences. So am familiar not only with the gritty hands-on elements of art but also how we communicate ourselves and step into our careers as artists.

For those looking for lessons preparing portfolios for Foundation or University degrees, I can help build portfolios and fill in gaps in narratives through in-person one-to-one lessons. I am also able to prepare students for solo or group interviews, tailored to which schools or universities they are looking to apply to. I am also able to work with younger students or any students looking to use art as a medium for expression and wish classes that are tailored to new mediums they wish to explore. Costs may alter depending on what mediums you wish to experiment with, or if you wish to be inducted into a new craft this can be organised in advance of the session. I am flexible to all persons and ages, and all lessons will be arranged a week in advance based on your personal needs and ensuring all equipment and space is available.
