Artist and illustrator offers drawing lessons to beginners and more advanced students in Scotland.

Steven Carroll is one of the best illustrators working today. His eye for detail and capturing a likeness is second to none. He has expanded his abilities and continues to explore new methods of interpretation. He is a rare talent and a genuinely down to earth person who I would recommend to anyone who wants the best.

Core to the teacher / student relationship is patience, which Steven has in apparent abundance through the creation of his intricately detailed scraper board illustrations. While many creatives tend to focus on a certain style or subject matter, Steven continues to add strings to his bow, experimenting with and conquering new styles of artistic interpretation with the ease of an adept.

Very easy going and patient guy. Happy to take the time to work with you as an individual to suit your needs. Has a depth of knowledge in different disciplines of art work. You can learn a lot in a fun and relaxed manner with Steve.

Steve is very patient and explains how to do things in a methodical way, which is supportive and understanding. He had a real passion for art that shows through his teaching.

He's a brilliant artist, great sense of humour he's very passionate about his art. Will make you feel relaxed and confident. He teaches two great friends of mine one being slightly disabled and has had fabulous results. Just go for it!
