About Malli
I am a passionate piano tutor with a Master’s degree in Music, dedicated to helping students of all ages achieve their musical goals. I have taught beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students preparing for exams, recitals, and performances. My lessons are personalized, student-centered, and designed to combine creativity with structured learning. I use real-life examples and case studies to explain rhythm, melody, and harmony in practical, relatable ways. Motivation is a key part of my teaching, and I encourage students to set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate accomplishments. Problem-solving exercises are included to strengthen analytical thinking and independent learning. I maintain integrity, creating a safe, honest, and supportive environment. I teach piano using a holistic, student-focused methodology that blends creativity, structure, and practical learning. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students connect musical concepts to everyday life, such as relating rhythm to movement, melody to emotion, and harmony to teamwork or collaborative problem-solving. I emphasize motivation, helping students set personal goals, celebrate progress, and build confidence throughout their learning journey. Problem-solving is a central part of my teaching, encouraging students to analyze challenges, experiment with solutions, and develop independent thinking skills.
I prioritize integrity, maintaining a safe, honest, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning from mistakes and asking questions. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition to provide students with a complete musical foundation.
